In the hills of Pontypool, The Conifers offers supported living where younger adults with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs can grow in confidence and independence.

Set in the hills of Talywain, The Conifers is a welcoming four-bedroom supported living bungalow where people can enjoy the reassurance of shared living while still having space to call their own. One bedroom has an ensuite, while others share a communal bathroom, kitchen-dining area, comfortable lounge and accessible garden made for quieter moments, fresh air and time together.
Life here is shaped around the individual. From familiar routines and building everyday skills to swimming, shopping, exploring Pontypool or heading further afield to Newport and Cardiff, support is designed around what matters to each person.
Our Strive model of support helps people work towards meaningful goals, while specialist in-house Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), multidisciplinary team (MDT) input and trauma-informed practice bring added expertise when it is needed. An established team provides calm, consistent support, helping people build confidence, choice and greater independence at a pace that feels right.
