Specialist residential care with beautiful Peak District surroundings

A calm, uplifting home where people flourish every day.
Phoenix Lodge is a warm, characterful home in the heart of New Mills, a friendly Derbyshire town surrounded by rolling Peak District views. The home stretches across four accessible floors, with a lift to every level, so people can move around with confidence and ease. Each of the five bedrooms has its own en-suite shower room, offering comfort, privacy and space to feel fully at home.
Shared spaces bring people together – from the bright lounge and dining room to a quieter upstairs lounge for peaceful moments. Outside, a large communal garden connects Phoenix Lodge with neighbouring services, creating a lively space for gardening, barbecues and the much-loved summer festival filled with music and laughter.
Guided by Strive, our model of support, daily life here is shaped around meaningful steps forward – building confidence, nurturing friendships and enjoying experiences that help people flourish.
