Pennine House offers 8 en-suite bedrooms, providing twenty four hour support. All colleagues are NAPPI (Non Abusive Physical and Psychological Interventions) trained and use the NAPPI red and green scale to maintain positive influence on each service user, with a view to minimising the level and frequency of challenging behaviour. People we support may have spent long periods of time in a hospital setting or may have additional complex needs including sensory impairments and communication difficulties.
The service has spacious communal lounges, kitchen and dining areas and large outside space with a lawn area. There is a shared bathroom on the first floor, as well as an accessible wet room on the ground floor, in addition to the ensuite shower rooms. There are also downstairs bedrooms available for disabled access. People we support also have access to a quiet communal lounge where they can use a computer or enjoy watching films.
Chesterfield – Pennine House is situated close to a wealth of community facilities. People we support can also enjoy the wide range of attractions that Chesterfield town centre has to offer. There are excellent transport links to surrounding areas with the service being close to a main bus route as well as the M1 motorway.
