The service has 8 en-suite bedrooms and provides twenty four hour support. The service has two communal lounges, kitchen and dining areas and large outside space with a lawn area where there is a trampoline and outside actvities for sensory use.

There is a shared bathroom on the ground floor, as well as a shared bathroom upstairs in addition to the ensuite shower rooms.

Lutterworth has a communal car for the people we support, a dedicated space for activities and appointments. The area has great transport links and is close to local amenities. The service is a very active service and we welcome all new people, with a welcome basket to help them to feel at home. We always aim to support people to live a life filled with opportunities.

People we support may have spent long periods of time in a  hospital setting or may have additional complex needs including sensory impairments and communication challenges. The activities that they enjoy include bowling, visits to a nearby safari park, long walks, going out for lunch, a trip to the local park, shopping, drives, day trips to the seaside and London.  We hold movie nights, encourage games in the home (connect 4, arts and crafts, celebrate special occasions – birthdays, Christmas, Halloween, easter). We support people to be independent and encourage day to days tasks, such as helping to clean their home and their bedrooms.  This could be anything from cleaning the door handles to hoovering, taking their laundry up to the laundry room, help to make their breakfast and lunch.

We’ve seen lots of success by working closely with the people we support to deliver outcomes.  This includes reducing peoples 3:1 and 2:1 in house support to a 1:1.  In addition, we’ve accompanied people on holidays of their choice, where they have picked where they want to go and who they want to be supported by.

We have had people move on to supported living services as they felt they were ready to become more independent and into solo occupancy to meet their needs.
