Residential Care in Whitley

A specialist home where meaningful lives can flourish

Tucked away in the peaceful village of Whitley near Goole, Garmsway is a warm and welcoming residential home where people are supported to live meaningful, fulfilling lives at their own pace.

Home to six people, Garmsway offers spacious ensuite bedrooms, including ground floor options, alongside bright communal lounges, a sociable dining area and a well-equipped kitchen where everyday moments – from cooking together to building confidence and independence – are encouraged. Outside, the garden creates space to relax, connect and enjoy time outdoors, with opportunities for local days out and seaside trips too.

Supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, dual diagnoses and complex needs, colleagues at Garmsway take a compassionate, consistent approach to support. Guided by our Strive model, the focus is always on helping people grow in confidence, achieve personal goals and feel truly at home.
