Set within the peaceful Blamsters Farm community on the outskirts of Halstead, Blamsters Oak is a CQC-rated Good residential home supporting six adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, including epilepsy and diabetes.

The home combines shared spaces with greater privacy: two upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom, while two ground-floor rooms offer individual features; one with a private living room and additional upstairs space. the other with a separate kitchen and bathroom. Two further annexes each have their own kitchen, lounge and dining area, and bathroom. A shared kitchen, dining room, lounge, activity shed, games area and garden bring people together for everyday moments, from relaxed meals to time outdoors.

Guided by our Strive model, support is shaped around each person’s strengths, routines and aspirations, strengthened by specialist Positive Behaviour Support, trauma-informed care and a multidisciplinary team approach. Halstead’s shops, cafés and local amenities are also within easy reach, helping people stay connected to community life.
