Acorn Avenue is a three-bed residential home that shares access to the Blamsters site. We’re in a quiet residential close and we have a communal lounge and kitchen as well as a separate enclosed garden and patio area.

We support people to prepare them for independent living by empowering and promoting their independence. We support them with varied tasks and activities ranging from personal care and preparing meals, to supporting them on their chosen holidays. They enjoy different activities from sensory drives, bowling, lunches and dinners out, and weekly college.

Summertime consists of BBQs, day trips to the nearby seaside towns, holidays and walks across the beautiful fields surrounding us. In winter time we have movie days, and indoor activities such as arts and crafts, along with all the regular activities such as lunches out and bowling.

All year round we all look forward to special occasion parties such as birthdays, Hallowe’en, Easter egg hunts, firework night, and Christmas time!
