Accessible Residential Care in Halstead

Set within the peaceful Blamsters Farm community on the outskirts of Halstead, Blamsters Green is a CQC-rated Good, eight-person residential home for mixed-gender adults with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy and mobility needs. The home is arranged entirely across the ground floor, with each person enjoying a private bedroom, bathroom and lounge; two bathrooms are wet rooms, offering added accessibility.

Shared spaces include a kitchen, communal lounge, activity room and garden, creating places to connect, unwind and enjoy meaningful routines. People receive personalised 1:1 or 2:1 support, including thoughtful support for people who communicate non-verbally and those with behaviours of concern.

Two house vehicles make local outings, appointments and days further afield easier to enjoy. Guided by our Strive model, support is shaped around each person’s strengths and aspirations, strengthened by specialist Positive Behaviour Support, trauma-informed care and a multidisciplinary team approach.
