Residential Care, Halstead

Set within the wider Blamsters Farm community on Mount Hill, Blamsters Courtyard is a single-occupancy residential home created for one person to feel safe, settled and truly at home. The property includes a private bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and lounge, offering familiar spaces where routines can grow at the person’s own pace.

The home supports adults with severe learning disabilities, pica, mental health needs, communication needs and behaviours of concern, including people who communicate non-verbally. Support is shaped around the individual through Strive, our model of support, with specialist Positive Behaviour Support, trauma-informed practice and multidisciplinary team input helping us understand what matters and create the right environment around them.

Combining the privacy of an individual home with the reassurance of an established community, Blamsters Courtyard offers consistency, trust and the opportunity to enjoy meaningful everyday moments.
