Gorfield is a welcoming four-bedroom supported living home in Takeley, just outside Bishop’s Stortford, created for people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs who are ready to build confidence and take meaningful steps towards greater independence.
Three bedrooms have en-suite facilities, while one shares a communal bathroom, alongside shared kitchen, cosy living area, session and study room, laundry facilities and a garden offering space to relax and unwind. With 24-hour support available, everyday life is shaped around each person’s strengths, choices and goals.
Our Strive model helps turn those goals into meaningful progress, supported by specialist in-house Positive Behaviour Support, our wider multidisciplinary team and a trauma-informed approach. Together, colleagues create a calm, encouraging environment where people can feel understood, develop new skills and become more connected to the community around them.
