Knollbeck is a specialist residential service for adults with Mental Illness who may have dual diagnoses and associated complex needs. Knollbeck has eight ensuite bedrooms and provides twenty four hour support.

The service provides a communal lounge, kitchen and dining area, large conservatory and a games room complete with football table and table tennis. Ground floor bedrooms are available and there is a communal bathroom in addition to the ensuite shower rooms. Knollbeck has Wi-Fi throughout allowing the people we support to stay in touch with family and friends, access e learning and use the internet.

ivolve Knollbeck has a large garden which is split into different areas; the first offers a large decked area with seating and a pool table. The second area is home to several chickens, a large pond complete with fish and a summer house with gym equipment as well as space for relaxing. The remaining section of the garden houses an allotment with a poly tunnel and apple and plum trees.

ivolve Knollbeck is situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac in Brampton, Bierlow, and Barnsley and close to a wealth of community facilities including Barnsley Metrodome shopping centre, Wentworth Garden Centre and Elsecar Heritage Centre. The service also enjoys easy access to ten pin bowling, a cinema, Meadow Hall shopping and entertainment centre and the Sheffield Motorpoint Arena.

There are many opportunities for the people we support to develop new skills; Dearne Valley College is just a ten minute drive away and the people we support are encouraged to grow their own vegetables in the allotment and use them to prepare and cook meals for themselves and other the people we support.
