We operate across more than 185+ services in England and Wales, in cities, towns and rural communities. We can help you find a service near your home, your support network, or your commissioning area.

Care can be funded in several ways:

  • Through your local authority or Integrated Care Board (ICB) after a care needs assessment
  • Through NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) if someone has significant health needs
  • Via private or family funding

We accept a range of funding arrangements and can help guide you through the process.

A care needs assessment is usually carried out by your local authority or social care team. It’s designed to understand what kind of help a person might need to live safely and well – from personal care to supported housing or more specialist support.

You can request one directly via your council’s adult social care department.

It depends on the urgency of the need, funding arrangements, and availability. Some placements can happen quickly – especially if someone is stepping down from hospital or secure care – while others may take longer to match the right location and team.
