Co-Production
At ivolve, co-production isn’t a buzzword. It’s a belief that the best support isn’t designed for people. It’s shaped with them.
From everyday support plans to national strategy, the voices of the people we support help guide the decisions we make.
We listen. We involve. And together, we create support that truly reflects the lives people want to live.
Co-production at ivolve
Co-production means people with lived experience help shape the support, environments and decisions that affect their lives.
It’s about partnership. At ivolve, this happens at every level. From daily choices in people’s homes to national conversations about how care and support should evolve.
We believe people are experts in their own lives. When their voices are heard and valued, support becomes more meaningful and responsive.
At ivolve we believe people should always have a voice in the decisions that affect their lives.
Why co-production matters
When people help shape their support and environment, we see:
- Greater confidence and independence
- Stronger relationships with colleagues
- More meaningful daily activities
- Higher satisfaction with support
- Better outcomes across Strive
Most importantly, people feel in control of their own lives.
Our Strive Together Committee
The Strive Together Committee brings together people we support and colleagues from across ivolve.
This group helps shape real change across the organisation, reviewing policies and designing new ideas that improve people’s lives.
It’s co-production in action. The committee ensures that the voices of people with lived experience are part of the conversations that shape ivolve’s future.
All of this ensures the pledge, “nothing about me, without me” is not just words. It turns the pledge into action led by the people with lived experience that are receiving care and support.
